LMS Admin
Over the years, LMS tools have grown to be a predominant part of online teaching and student management. While there are hundreds of LMS tools available today, only a handful have been able to meet the demands of colleges and universities. The following are some of the LMS tools I have administered and personally used in my own teaching:
Schoology – 2015-2020 @ Year Up, Inc. Serves as Schoology Administrator.
Canvas – 2018-2020. Used for personal delivery of courses and training through TheDigitalClassroom.com.
Blackboard – 2014-2015 @ Clayton State University. Studied and evaluated for potential migration for the university.
D2L/Brightspace – 2010-2015 @ Clayton State University.
Moodle – 1999-2008 @ the University of Kansas and Northern Kentucky University. Administered the LMS for Educational Technology Courses.
WebCT – 1995-1996 @ UNLV during doctoral program.
PowerSchool – 1995-1999 @ Clark County School District. I served as administrator for a pilot middle school that opened as the first “technology-based” middle school.
