I began my teaching career in California in 1980. I taught Music (Marching Band, Concert Band, Orchestra, Music Theory, Musical Theatre, Jazz Band, and Drill/Flag Team) in the Los Angeles Unified School District and the Santa Ana Unified School District.
I hold a LIFE teaching credential in California. I am certified to teach K-12 Music as well as Computers/Technology, and Community College.
In 1987 I was chosen to lead the Las Vegas Youth Orchestra and to teach Orchestra in the Clark County Unified School District. In 1994 I began pursuing my doctorate in technology and began teaching Computers/Technology in the CCUSD (1995-1996). I became a Site Technology Coordinator (1996-1999) and helped train future technology coordinators.
I held a teaching credential in Nevada from 1987-2004. I was certified to teach K-12 Music as well as Computers/Technology.
I was a Faculty member in the College of Education – Educational Technology/Instructional Design at Northern Kentucky University from 2005-2009.
I held a teaching credential in Kentucky and was certified to teach K-12 Music.
